Arora’s legal expertise was initially developed as a prosecutor with the United States Air Force from 1994 to 1998. News and Media

His dedication led him to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in Georgia, where he handled serious offenses, especially homicide cases. It was in the courtroom that Arora acquired critical insights into the art of securing convictions and mastering legal tactics.

However, his progression through the legal ranks unveiled the system’s imperfections, particularly its often harsh treatment of those with limited resources or inadequate defense. As Arora saw the impact on families and the at times unjust imposition of punitive measures, he underwent a pivotal change in perspective. He came to realize that his calling was not in prosecution but in defense—safeguarding the rights of Georgians and pursuing equitable outcomes.

Arora shifted from achieving convictions to advocating for the defense, upholding the rights of the innocent, and championing equitable treatment. This commitment ensured that wrongful convictions would not determine the fate of individuals. His success in obtaining acquittals and reducing charges established him as a key figure in criminal defense throughout the Southeast.

As a cornerstone of his community, Arora’s mission is to amplify the voices of the marginalized and defend the wrongfully accused. His assertive courtroom demeanor is supported by thorough preparation and a commitment to fostering solid relationships with clients. Believing that the best-prepared lawyer succeeds, Arora applies his prosecutorial knowledge to preempt and counter the opposition’s plans.

Manny Arora’s path has led him to the highest judicial levels, including the Supreme Court of Georgia, where he has effectively contested and reversed criminal decisions. His proficiency in appellate law offers his clients a significant advantage by adeptly handling the intricacies of legal appeals.

Acclaimed for prevailing in challenging cases, Arora’s reputation has garnered national attention. He is a respected commentator for media outlets like CNN, Fox News, and ESPN, and is referenced in esteemed publications such as The New York Times and USA Today.
