Creely Family and Attorneys to Announce Filing of Civil Rights Lawsuit

And Discuss Family’s Investigation into Creely’s Death in Savannah, GA jail

Lee Michael Creely was arrested on September 3, 2020, for failing to change his address with his probation officer. He subsequently died under horrific circumstances in the Chatham County Jail on September 6, 2020. Five jail officers have been fired, one of whom is being prosecuted, related to Mr. Creely’s death.

Mr. Creely’s family will announce the filing of a multi-million dollar civil rights lawsuit they are filing and discuss the results of their investigation into Mr. Creely’s death.

This lawsuit is being pursued by the Claiborne Firm with the support of the Fair Fight Initiative.
